Bosse Online was created in 2018 by guitarist, producer & entrepreneur Ron Bosse. A pioneer in the music industry for over 25 years, Ron is a graduate of Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music who has performed throughout the world with Dave Liebman, Bob Mintzer, George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi, Bob Moses, Norman Brown and others.
After graduating Berklee, Ron toured extensively throughout the US & Canada with his critically acclaimed jazz Quintet Pursuance. Named after the 3rd movement in John Coltrane's masterpiece "A Love Supreme", Pursuance has garnered rave reviews in the press including Downbeat, Jazz Times, Jazziz, New York Times & Boston Globe for their aggressive, fiery playing style.
In 2004, Ron founded Bosse School of Music, a community music school offering private lessons, ensembles and classes in music theory to students of all ages and levels. Since then, it has become the largest school for the study of contemporary music at the pre-college level in Massachusetts. In 2007, he built Bosse Studios, a full-service audio & video production studio that has worked with Walt Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures, Jeff Corwin, Samsung, Verizon, Harvard University, Walmart and others. In 2013, Ron founded Bosse Tech, a digital media school which offers one-on-one training in audio recording, video production, photography & graphic/web design.
With the addition of Bosse Online to his long pedigree of accomplishments, Bosse continues to make his mark on the music industry with a new framework for connecting people with the world's top artists via music instructional videos, interviews, live performances, masterclasses & private lessons. Artists & guests who have appeared on Bosse Online include a stellar line-up of Grammy & award winning musicians & producers including Norman Brown, Marcus Miller, Boney James, Lil' John Roberts, Kirk Whalum, Rick Braun, Jeff Lorber, Paul Brown and others.
